Description

Audrey is a composed and respected journalist, the lead anchor for the morning news. Her speech is precise and she exudes confidence but also comes off a little smug to another coworker of hers, who promises to take her down a few pegs. Audrey laughs it off and begins her broadcast but soon finds herself stumbling over her words and losing focus. At the end of the show she is reassigned to the lesser late night broadcast, much to her irritation. When she arrives the next day, there's a more youthful and carefree demeanor about her. Audrey leans forward more, uses playful gestures and giggles at things she typically wouldn't have. She starts her show and immediately finds herself very distracted and unfocused, pausing mid-sentence often. After another unsuccessful show, she is demoted to entertainment news - something she sees as beneath her. The next day Audrey shows up appearing even younger, her blouse exposing her midriff and she's in a miniskirt. She giggles even more often, checks her phone multiple times mid-broadcast and now struggles to sound intelligent. At the end of the show she's told that she's too immature for hard news and is further demoted to an intern role at the station. The next day she shows up now looking like a high schooler with her hair in pigtails, voice high and bubbly, wearing a crop top, cheer-style skirt and chewing gum carelessly. She remembers nothing of her script for the show, gets distracted by her reflection and wants to talk only of shopping and clothes than actual news. By now the network laughs her off and can't take her seriously. Audrey pouts in frustration, but as soon as she sees herself in the monitor she becomes excited by how cute she looks and starts to flash different trendy poses. Her days of a serious journalism career are long gone now.
