Cali and Candace come running in from the storm! Cadence checks on Cali because fembots like Cali aren’t supposed to get wet, but Cali lets her know that they are built just like people are now. We walk, talk, act just like a normal person….but Cali keeps saying “we”

Cadence is lost on the “we,” Cali is a fembot, not Cadence. Cali has some news for Cadence…she too is a fembot. So much so that she is the same model fembot as Cali. Cadence has no idea of this and knows she is not a fembot. Cali tries to comfort Cadence and lets her know that it is ok…but Cadence wants nothing to do with this conversation!

Cali tries to give Cadence some college examples….don’t you realize that you have never had to study or work to remember things?! Cadence is getting irritated, she is not a fembot, raised by a family….not a fembot! Cali knows she’s lying and is really off by the idea that Cadence needs to continue to lie about this.

Cali tries to take a different approach, maybe Cadence doesn’t know. Her parents never told her so she has never known. As Cadence continues to try to argue her point…she starts to skip, getting words out is getting harder. Cali tries to calm her down in hope her attitude programming will correct itself…let’s just take a break and calm down.

Cadence is not really understanding what is going on and the skipping is getting worse, she refuses to listen and Cali is trying to stop her from having a complete system meltdown. Clearly, Cadence’s parents never told her, updated her and this is the reaction to it…complete denial and system overload!

Let’s try changing the subject, but that doesn’t get very far as Cadence’s systems lose connection and try to find another one. In the meantime, Cadence is convinced that Cali is causing this and tries to shut her down. Where is that power button! Things continue to get worse for Cadence so Cali tries to reset Cadence, but that doesn’t work. Maybe powering Cadence off, even though as a “real person” she couldn’t possibly turn off, might help resolve this issue.

Cali powers Cadence down and reaches out to her parents…they never told her! Cali is trying to explain to them what has happened and they let her know they haven’t really been paying much attention…more like drinking and playing bingo.
