It’s been quite some time since I’ve driven a stick shift car, especially a stick shift car as old and clapped out as this one!
It takes me a few attempts to drive off, pulling away seems like a great and greater challenge as each moment passes.
I stall the engine again, remembering back to my driving lessons I try and work my way through each step but I’m having no luck at all.
Now the car won’t stay on, the engine is coughing, spluttering and running very badly. I pump the g** attempting to keep the car alive long enough to be able to drive to the mall, I’m going to need all the luck in the world for that journey!
